The EuroVenus consortium will to study Venus using a combination of space-based and ground-based observatories in a concerted way. The main space-based observatory used in Venus Express, the European Space Agency's Venus orbiter, but some other space-based telescopes have been used particularly for observing the transit of Venus. The principle Earth-based observatories used by the EuroVenus consortium are shown below.
