The EuroVenus consortium brings together many of the leading planetary science institutes from across Europe. It includes experts in Venus Express instrumentation, in ground based telescope observation of planets, as well as experts in atmospheric dynamics and chemistry.

The Paris Observatory provides leadership for the consortium, and is leading work packages in ground-based observations of Venus' mesosphere using mid-infrared telescopes and radio telescope arrays.

Oxford University leads the consortium's outreach activities, assists in coordination of science and observations.

The "Rhenish Institute for Environmental Research" at the University of Cologne is carrying out two activities in the consortium: the first is analysis of radio occultation data from Venus Express satellite; the second is ground-based infrared heterodyne observations.

The Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur in Nice, France, is leading analysis of observations of the 2012 transit of Venus across the sun to characterise aerosols and temperature structure.

The Lisbon Observatory is analysing winds on Venus by tracking of features in the atmosphere of Venus, and by measuring the Doppler shift of spectral lines using ground-based observations. They also lead the activity on archiving of consortium's outputs.

The Belgian Institute for Space Aeronomy is the lead institute for the Solar Occultation (SOIR) instrument on Venus Express; this data allows analysis of temperatures, aerosols and trace gas chemistry in the middle atmosphere of Venus.
