The Belgian Institute for Space Aeronomy (IASB-BIRA) is looking for a Scientific Software engineer to support the activities of the planetary aeronomy group.
The first tasks for the candidate are to support data processing and calibration, and to work on the retrieval codes used to derive atmospheric properties from observed spectra.
These tasks are to be performed first for the Venus Express / SOIR instrument, but there is scope eventually to apply this work also to the upcoming ExoMars / NOMAD instrument.
