The International Venus Science Conference 2016 was held in Oxford, UK, from 4-8 April. It was attended by over 140 scientists from 15 countries; There were 97 talks and 58 posters presented. Topics of the presentations covered topics from the interior of Venus right out to the edge of space; while many presentations used data from Venus Express or ground based observations, a highlight was presentation of new results from Japan's Akatsuki orbiter; plans for future Venus missions were also discussed. Financial support from the EuroVenus consortium and other sponsors supported conference costs in particular for 22 students.
